Nick Cassavetes, who directed her on ‘She’s So Lovely (1997)’ added: “Robin is one of those people who can do things effortlessly. She just makes everything real hard, because she hates fame and struggles with it.”
In this piece, Robin Wright talked about the long list of big commercial films she turned down over the last years, choosing instead to work on some independent movies that felt more personal and meaningful to her.
Robin Wright, smiling and without an ounce of regret, gives her own blunt take on what Hollywood probably thinks of her: “I think the studios have just said, ‘Fuck her. She doesn’t want to work.’ And they’ve got plenty of other stars that make them money”.
