January 21, 1995: First Golden Globe nomination for Robin Wright

Robin Wright attended the 52nd Annual Golden Globe Awards with her mother Gayle Gaston because she received her first Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her role of Jenny Curran in the movie ‘Forrest Gump.

The other nominees were Dianne Wiest (Bullets Over Broadway), Kirsten Dunst (Interview with the Vampire), Sophia Loren (Prêt-à-Porter) and Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction). The winner of this category was Dianne West.

February 25, 1995: First SAG nomination for Robin Wright

Robin Wright attended the Inaugural 1st Screen Actors Guild Awards because she received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for ‘Forrest Gump’.

The other nominees were Jamie Lee Curtis (True Lies), Sally Field (Forrest Gump), Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction) and Dianne Wiest who won the award for ‘Bullets Over Broadway’.
