March 7, 2013: Robin Wright wins Texas Film Hall of Fame Award

The Texas Film Hall of Fame, founded in 2001, honors those who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of the Texas film industry.

Robin Wright was honored at the 13th Annual Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards which was put on by the Austin Film Society.

Robin Wright attended the event at Austin Studios on Texas.

Director Rob Reiner spoke about his work with Robin Wright before presenting the award to her.

On stage, Robin Wright said: “It’s so great to get up and do this job… and to receive human stories and observe human stories and to get paid for it,”.

July 18, 2013: First Primetime Emmy Nomination for Robin Wright

This year ‘House of Cards’ made history as the first ever streaming series to earn Primetime Emmy nominations.

The Netflix series got 9 nominations including Best Drama Series, Best Lead Actress (Robin Wright), Best Lead Actor (Kevin Spacey) and Best Direction (David Fincher, for the first episode).

In the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series these were the nominees: Claire Danes (Homeland), Connie Britton (Nashville), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men), Kerry Washington (Scandal) and Robin Wright (House of Cards).

December 12, 2013: Robin Wright wins Muse Award

New York Women in Film and TV announced the awardees for the 33rd annual Muse Awards. The honorees included actors Ellen Barkin, Connie Britton and Robin Wright.

Robin Wright attended the ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in New York City.

Robin Wright received the Muse Award for Outstanding Vision and Achievement.
