Robin Wright spoke virtually during the Bloomberg Green Summit on a laptop computer in Tiskilwa, Illinois, U.S.
On creating a sustainable and mission-driven brand: Robin Wright, Actor, Director, Co-Founder, Pour Les Femmes, said her socially driven sleepwear company only works with fair-trade workshops. The garments are made by women in conflict regions. She emphasized that the goal is to empower women — the business does that by giving them employment. “Every time you purchase one of the products they build, you are directly giving a woman a day of work,” she said.

July 2, 2021: Robin Wright wins award at Munich Film Festival
The Munich International Film Festival (Filmfest München) is the largest summer film festival in Germany and second only in size and importance to the Berlinale. It has been held annually since 1983.
On July 2, the 38th Munich Film Festival presented Robin Wright with the CineMerit Award for her achievements in the art of film and showed ‘Land’ in its German premiere on a large outdoor screen.
Robin Wright received her CineMerit Award remotely. Unfortunately, she couldn’t attend her Gala in person because of the pandemic.
But the festival produced an extensive online Filmmakers Live Discussion with her.
Robin Wright greeted the audience and thanked Filmfest München for being rewarded as an actress and director with the CineMerit Award.

The shooting of ‘Where All Light Tends to Go’ (in January 2023 the tittle was changed to ‘Devil’s Peak’) began in November 1 and ended in December 6, 2021.
Robin Wright filmed her part of long-suffering meth-addicted Virgie from November 1 to November 13, 2021.
In this movie directed by Ben Young, Robin Wright works for the first time with her son Hopper Penn (in fact she plays his mother) while Billy Bob Thornton plays the father.
Robin Wright is also a producer of this film.
November 18, 2021: Robin Wright wins award at Stockholm Film Festival
The Stockholm International Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Stockholm, Sweden. It was launched in 1990.
This year’s Stockholm Achievement Award is presented to Robin Wright with the following motivation:
“Stockholm Achievement Award 2021 is given to an actress and director who has been active in Hollywood for three decades. With a wide range of roles, she always conveys the same authenticity and emotional presence through the characters she portrays. Wright brings the same sharpness and focus to her feature film directorial debut, “Land”, where she gives an impressive cinematic solo colored by grief and pain. It is a great honor to present Stockholm Achievement Award 2021 to Robin Wright.”
The Nordic premiere of ‘Land’ directed by Robin Wright took place at the Skandia Theatre at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 18.
Robin couldn’t attend the ceremony, but she accepted the Bronze Horse digitally before the screening.
